In an effort to help Chaffee County residents understand the potential ramifications of upcoming mill levies and bond issues advanced by both the school district and the city, Salida Citizen staff have created an online property tax calculator. Owners of either residential or commercial property may enter the assessed value of their property and see the annual cost increase (or decrease) incurred by supporting the various measures on the ballot.
