  1. The City of Boulder has a wonderful public trail system that provides not only hiking opportunities but climbing access to the infamous Flatirons. Perhaps one could contact a planner or councilperson there and ask for some advice on how to get a good trail system in place and how to pay for it.

Thanks for your interest and the suggestion. We have thought of our trail system vision as being more comparable to those found in Fruita, Grand Junction, Carbondale, and Durango. We have reached out to trail leadership organizations in those communities for advice. Boulder is a much larger city with a much larger budget. If you check out our website: http://salidamountaintrails.org you will hopefully see that we have a vision and we are making very good progress.

    Thanks again for the suggestion.

  3. Very true. Man… wish I could move back sooner than later. You know anyone hiring mountain guides? lol
