During the regularly-scheduled council meeting on Tuesday, February 17, the council:
- Approved the purchase of the Vandaveer property using money from the general and water funds;
- Approved a contract with Diesslin Structures (DSI) for renovations in the old hospital building;
- Approved a bid from Ennovate Corporation for a heating, ventilation and cooling system in the old hospital building;
- Approved a Great Outdoors Colorado grant application for local park improvements; and
- Appointed Theresa Casey and Diana Porter to the Salida Recreation Advisory Board. Rusty Granzella and Dennis Ridley will serve as alternates.
