According to an undated press release, Chaffee County and Nestlé Waters have agreed to postpone the scheduled public hearings before the Planning Commission and the Board of Commissioners in order to allow adequate time for independent consultants retained by the County to review and comment on the project.

Chaffee County is noticing cancellation of the special Planning Commission meeting and Public Hearing scheduled for February 11, 2009 (to have been held at the Salida Steam Plant) and the Board of Commissioners work session scheduled for February 20, 2009 (to have been held at the Buena Vista Community Center/Pinon Room) and the special Board of Commissioners meeting and Public Hearing scheduled for February 26, 2009 (to have been held at the Salida Steam Plant).
The Planning Commission Public Hearing will be rescheduled for the first week in March with specific date, time and location to be determined.
The Board of Commissioners special work session and Public Hearing will be rescheduled with specific dates, times and locations to be determined.
