Upper-floor housing development

Historic Salida, Inc. and the City of Salida host a free Main Street Webinar on “Upstairs Downtown: Successful Upper-floor Housing Development” on April 2, 2009 from 11 – 12 downstairs of the Salida Regional Library at 405 E Street. The live session is a continuation of a series by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The subject looks at upper-floor housing as an effective solution for under-utilized space and how to deal with the challenges. Presenters are from local Main Street districts who are making it happen.

Hosting the webinars fulfills an element of Salida’s strategic plan, known as Coming Together for Our Town, to provide expertise on common problems found in historic downtowns.
