Being a developmentally disabled adult isn’t a disability for “Wolfman” Dave Carty. With his sidekick, “Redneck” Ed Belinski, Wolfman does a weekly radio show on low-power community radio station KHEN 106.9 FM in Salida, Colorado.

Starpoint, which introduced Dave and Ed, provides essential services to two vulnerable populations: kids, prenatal through five years of age, and their families, and adults with cognitive and physical challenges. Starpoint has been providing services and supports to individuals, families, and communities in Fremont, Chaffee, and Custer Counties since 1977, and began providing adult services in Front Range communities in 2001.
