The December 14 program for League of Women Voters of Chaffee County is on redistricting and the census update. The presentation will be at 12:00 at the United Methodist Church fellowship hall in Salida, 4th and D Streets. A business meeting will begin at 11:00. Please call Karen Robinson, President, at 395-3396, for more information.
Come learn how the census update and redistricting can affect your vote. Steve Craig and Marjie Grey will discuss the history, foundation and formal requirements that the census and redistricting requires, to inform citizens about this process.
We invite all men and women of voting age to become members in our active League of Women Voters chapter by attending this meeting. Meetings alternate between Salida and Buena Vista, with carpooling available.
Be a part of making democracy work. Your participation will help you become better informed on local, state and national issues in today’s political universe. Call Marjie Gray at 395-8948 for more information about membership.
