Salida Recreation ski bus to Monarch has started!

Ski Bus Picture 08Salida Recreation ski bus to Monarch has begun its seasonal trips up Monarch Pass.  It runs every Saturday until the 13th of March.  The cost is $5 for the round trip.  The bus leaves at 8:30am sharp from the Parking Lot at the Salida Hot Spring Aquatics Center and leaves Monarch at 3:30pm sharp.  It is encouraged to sign up early.  This is for people 10 and over.  Kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Steve Redmond, who coordinates the bus said that the group in charge of the rec bus have kept it as affordable as possible, and will continue to do so for years to come. Interest has been great, and it seems to build each year.”

Last year they delivered over 300 riders of all ages safely to Monarch.  Steve’s thoughts  about the program are simple “Leave the driving and parking to us and lets go ride. ”
