Transition Town discusses the Comp Plan Public Workshop

After conducting a bit of research, we have decided to have a meeting regarding the Comprehensive Plan Public Workshop.

This meeting will be held on Monday, January 11th, 7pm at the Salida Library meeting room.

The purpose of this meeting is to:

- Discuss what we want to communicate to the city

- What we want to get out of the public workshop

Special interest groups will  be at the comp plan public workshop, ie. developers, real estate companies, and contractors, so it is crucial that we have a strong presence there and participate in shaping the future of our community.

Please review the Comp Plan Survey Results on the City website prior to attending our meeting.  The Corvallis sustainability plan can be view here.

Pages 9-11 of their Community Action Plan is a good starting point for our processes

    Chaffee County’s only roller derby league, The Ark Valley High Rollers, will be hosting their 2nd annual Valentine’s Day fundraiser to support and fund future bouts. It is an open skate and bake sale fundraiser at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. The fun kicks off at 1:00 PM at The Fairgrounds.
