Salida, Colorado—Angel of Shavano Hospice is hosting an Open House on Thursday, February 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to celebrate their move to a new location. The Hospice, which focuses on in-home care, is now located at 8044 West Highway 50, Suite 202, in Salida.
Angel of Shavano Hospice has been providing compassionate end-of-life care for more than 20 years in the Upper Arkansas Valley. Hospice professionals work with the patient, family and attending physician to develop a plan of care that will best meet the patient’s individual needs.
Services include palliative care, pain and symptom management, psychological support, medical social work, and spiritual/pastoral support. The Hospice is a joint venture with Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center and Amedisys.
Hospice is available to any person who is terminally ill, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded at the Open House.
