Art/AIDS 2010 submissions

As the air gets a bit more chilled and winter approaches, we at Boulder County AIDS Project are already thinking about our next Art/AIDS, Art/AIDS 2010, which will be Saturday, April 17th at the Boulder Public Library. This event coincides with BCAP’s 25th Anniversary and we are looking forward to the best art auction ever.

We cannot do that without the full support of the art community. Since the beginning of this pandemic, the art world has been a huge support for agencies helping people with HIV/AIDS as well as working to prevent further HIV transmission. We once again come to you asking for your support. AIDS is not over and our work is as vital today as ever.

Art/AIDS 2010 will include both a silent and live auction featuring outstanding works of art (photographs, prints, paintings, jewelry, pottery, textiles, and one‑of‑a‑kind pieces) and certificates for unique experiential packages with artists wishing to offer their time for a specific purpose (lunch with an artist, pottery or print-making with an artist, private painting lessons with an artist).  Please indicate your willingness to contribute to this event by returning the enclosed form to us by fax, U.S. Mail, or email ASAP. If you haven’t yet chosen a piece of art to contribute, we will be contacting you some time in February to get your final decision. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the process

We look forward to your participation in Art/AIDS 2010, and will be in touch with you soon! Please call Dan at 303.444.6121 if you have any questions.

Warm regards,

Claire Wilson, Co-Chair
