And it is also a great place to volunteer. Not only is it wonderful to be part of an organization that provides health care to those who can least or have a hard time affording doctor, tests and medicine bills ( sliding scale and lower cost bills) but it is just a great atmosphere in which to give time and effort. Both the volunteer and the paid staff are committed to both the mission and creating a space where the vibes are warm, cooperative, friendly and the Twix bars are plentiful. And that is the whole ballgame. wow – great to see this article re the Peoples Clinic!
