This is a good piece that offers some pertinent info that I hadn’t already heard. It seems ridiculous that the BLM would view geothermal as a mineral issue and not take into account the water aspects. That needs to change. The prospect of powering half the county with a local, renewable energy plant is intriguing, but the location is entirely inappropriate.
