Transition Salida

More information on TRANSITION can be found here. At the Citizen, we believe in this group and this movement.

The next Transition Salida meeting will be held Tuesday, March 2nd at the Salida Regional Library, 6:30pm.  At this meeting we will discuss workgroups and summer projects, brainstorm transition’s vision for Salida comp plan, and other community updates.

Transition Initiative is a grassroots international movement to help communities become more resilient to many problems we face today and to seek real solutions to such areas as food, energy, transportation, economics and livelihoods.  Transition Salida meets regularly to discuss our options here in Chaffee County.

Workgroups are forming now. If you are interested, please join us.  For further information you may contact Merry Cox at merrycox@msn.com or Denise Ackert at deniseackert@yahoo.com or salidatransition@gmail.com
