9Health Fair is Saturday

The 9Health Fair is coming to Salida on Saturday, April 24, from 6:30 a.m. to noon, at a new location—Salida High School. Anyone 18 and older can participate in the fair’s low-cost and free health screenings.

Staffed entirely by volunteers, the 9Health Fair offers four basic low-cost screenings: blood chemistry, Prostatic Specific Antigen (PSA) for men, blood cell count, and a take-home colon cancer screening kit.

Free screenings include height/weight, vision, body in balance, hearing, lung function, oral, skin, and—with limited availability—foot screenings.
