The election for Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s board of directors is Tuesday, May 4. Eligible voters in the Salida Hospital District may vote for three board directors between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on May 4.
There are two polling places: the hospital conference rooms in Salida or the gym at Darren Patterson Christian Academy in Buena Vista.
Four nominees are running for three positions on the hospital board. The nominees are Dan Downing, Paul E. Poser, Malcolm Keith Miller and Cheryl D. Eigsti. Board directors serve four-year terms.
Applications for mail-in voter ballots are available at HRRMC’s main reception desk, the hospital clinic at 713 E. Main Street in Buena Vista, or online at hrrmc.com.
