Macs in the Mountains

The iPad will be a special guestFree advise, troubleshooting, presentations, demo equipment, and entertainment! All at Salida’s favorite entertainment venue The Salida Cafe.

Come join the fun and show Salida Cafe that techies can have fun too! Meet other Mac users. Even if you are just curious about Macs or only own an iPod, this event is for you.

applejuice tech has been ambitiously planning a first-ever tech gathering to be held in Salida CO on May 4 at Salida Cafe, begining at 6pm. The Applejuice Bar will be open for all to bring in their Macs and questions for an Apple Genius-Bar style station manned by applejuice techs and guest tech Rich Voelker, of Voelker Research in Colorado Springs.

Voelker Research, a long time Apple Reseller and Service Provider in Colorado Springs, will bring some new Apple equipment for demonstration, including the new iPad. Rich will be the featured presenter at the event.

Other presenters will demonstrate to the audience how they use everyday Apple equipment and software to do extraordinary things. Bill Donovan of the Salida Citizen will show how he uses iMovie to create the videos posted online at the Salida Citizen. Wes Stobbe, of Mercury Design, will awe you with his tools used to design cycling jerseys. Jacqueline, of applejuice tech will speak about online safety and security.

There will be free live entertainment (to be announced shortly) after the presentations, with drink specials such as a SCSI smoothie and a Snow Leapard smoothie.

The Silicon Mountain Macintosh Users Group from Colorado Springs will be at the event to answer questions about Macintosh Users Group and to help applejuice tech gain interest in a proposed new group for the Salida Area, Mountain Macs Macintosh Users Group.
