Salida ArtWorks 2nd Annual Open Studio Tour

August 27th-28th, 2010.  A juried show, providing an opportunity to meet a variety of artists in their studios, observe the creative processes, view their artistic work and give the artists an opportunity to sell their art, music and writing to the public. This year the tour expands to include Salida, Smeltertown and Big Horn Sheep Canyon, up to and including Cotopaxi.

Hours: Noon to 7Pm, Friday, 08.27 and 10AM to 5PM Saturday, 08.28

Merrell Bergin

A Colorado resident since 1970, Merrell Bergin is a business applications software consultant in the healthcare industry. Together with his wife PJ, a fiber artist, Merrell rehabilitated the classic downtown Salida building where they now live. PJ and Merrell have been actively involved in the arts, Historic District and civic issues for many years.
