Family & Youth Initiatives seeks a three-quarters time (30 hours a week) Program Coordinator to run Chaffee Mentors Plus which matches paid adult mentors with local teens experiencing multiple needs. Position may be increased to 40 hours a week at a later time. Responsibilities include recruiting and matching mentors/ youth, and supporting matches including monthly mentors supervision group, monthly activities and case/ crisis management. Skills/background includes Bachelor’s Degree in social-science related field, Master’s Degree preferred, experience in youth development, volunteer management, social work, therapy, substance abuse prevention, marketing and working with diverse populations. Strong computer proficiency, effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently, lead and manage projects, and be an effective team member are a must.
