ORIENT LAND TRUST, a nonprofit land trust dedicated to the preservation of natural and biological resources, agricultural lands, wildlife habitat, open space, and historic and geologic features of the northern San Luis Valley, will hold its annual Board meeting on Sat., July 17 beginning at 9 AM at OLT/Valley View Hot Springs.
Items on the agenda of interest to the public include consideration of new policies and policy revisions to further our land conservation goals, a comprehensive bylaw review, and finalization of the 2010 Strategic Plan. The public is invited and encouraged to attend all or part of the meeting. Please also join us from NOON to 2 pm at the Pavilion for a picnic lunch and the opportunity to meet and talk with board members, land trust founders Neil & Terry Seitz, and Suzanne Ewy, OLT’s new Executive Director, who will officially join OLT on Aug. 1st.
