The 31-year-old Israeli pianist, Inon Barnatan, is considered an expert on Schubert and his music. He performed in Salida for the first time last year and has since performed “Schubert Ascending,” a three-concert festival at New York’s Lincoln Center devoted to Schubert’s late works. His program includes Ludwig van Beethoven, Piano Sonata No. 18 in E flat major (The Hunt); Britten/Stevenson, Peter Grimes Fantasy from Britten’s opera “Peter Grimes”; Maurice Ravel, La Valse ; and Franz Schubert, Piano Sonata in A major, D. 959.
