The town of Buena Vista, CO is proud to host the 26th Autumn Color Run on Saturday September 18th, 2010. More than 500 competitors from several states showed up for the run last year. The race features a 1-mile fun run, a 5K, 10K, and half-marathon. This year we are excited to announce the addition of a full marathon! Like last year, both runners and walkers are welcome in all races; however, the race will see a number of changes. The first change is that the finish line is being moved from Lake Avenue to across the footbridge to McPhelemy Park. At the finish you can expect the same delicious smorgious board of home-made goodies that everyone loves; new this year will be a beer garden, live music, and vendors. Additionally, Five Star Timing will be coordinating the timing of the race, portable toilets will be added to the halfway point of the half-marathon and there are some unique “surprise” awards planned for after the race. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy a day of fitness and family fun in the park! Check out http://www.bvautumncolorrun.net for registration or additional details.
