Lee, thanks for posting the link to the NYT story. It’s interesting to me to notice that as Richard begins recovery from his second brain surgery (last Friday), what works best for him is less stimulation, not more. I wonder how much our various forms of electronic caffeine are exhausting our brains (and our bodies) without really exercising them–at least not in healthy ways.
