Mushroom club forming

Folks interested in learning about mushrooms are invited to the first meeting of the Arkansas Valley Mushroom Club on Saturday, October 2 from 1 – 3:30 pm in the community room at the Salida Library, 405 East St. Four mycologists from Denver will be there to share their expertise, including tips on identifying the most common kinds of local edible mushrooms, recognizing likely poisonous ones, sharing favorite recipes, and more.
