Community parade for 3A

School bond parade
Wednesday, November 3   2:45 p.m. The community has shown overwhelming support for a new high school and better education in our community.
Regardless of the outcome, Salida School Board and Salida School District would like to say Thank You!  Join us for a parade as we fill the streets of downtown with music. The SHS band will lead us up F Street and onto the high school for a special celebration. Everyone is welcome!  Children 10 and under need adult supervision in order to participate.
Meet at lower F Street (below the bridge) or join us along the route as we walk up F Street and across 9th Street to the high school. We will walk with the SHS band and end at the high school for a special celebration. Dress warmly. Wear as much purple as you have! Bring a sign of thanks!

  1. Great job Bill and Laura Donavan for all your hard work and time put into this! Kudos to you both, as well as everyone else that volunteered. I thank you, and my children thank you.

  2. Please make sure you vote on Tuesday (or before)! Every school bond issue seems to come down to just a handful of votes. EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!!!

  3. If you haven’t voted…. VOTE!
The Community has a ‘once in a lifetime’ gift from the state to help build a new High School. Vote YES on 3A! Help the Community economically; 30 MILLION into Salida. Help the families and children of the Community get the education they need to compete and win. Provide the Community with excellent athletic, performing arts and teaching facilities; that both the students and Community benefit from. We can all do a little and accomplish alot! VOTE YES on 3A!!

  4. Why is there an apostrophe in your headline, between the k and the s in the word Thanks?
