Perhaps like us, you watch TED, and every once in a while we come across one that jumps out as extraordinary. Since Salida is buzzing about the opportunity to get a new high school (at almost half-off the sticker price), we thought we’d pass on this video presentation by Sir Ken Robinson from a 2007 lecture.
It would be interesting to know what professional educators think about these ideas, and presuming they are worth pursuing, how they might be implemented considering the unfunded state and federal mandates, testing standards and low wages most teachers and schools enjoy these days. Is it an incomprehensibly challenging cultural paradigm shift in public education?
