HRRMC physician honored as one of the Best Doctors in America

Dr. Robert Hunter, director of HRRMC’s Sports Medicine Center and Orthopedic Center of Excellence, has been selected for the Best Doctors in America 2011-2012 database.

An exhaustive peer-review survey by thousands of doctors determines the physicians included in the database. Doctors cannot buy listings. Only physicians who earn the consensus support of their peers are included.

The Best Doctors Database at www.bestdoctors.com connects patients around the world to expert medical care. Dr. Hunter is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries.

Before joining HRRMC’s medical staff in 2009, Dr. Hunter was Director of Sports Medicine for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with an orthopedic group in Aspen.
