What’s possible with an athlete, a couple hours and a DSLR camera in the hands of a professional photographer?

Down at the Citizen we’ve been getting excited about The Pro Challenge coming through Salida. Even with the new off-road biking and hiking opportunities of North Backbone and Little Rainbow, our road bikes are being pulled out a little more often as we geek out to riding really fast on these near weightless steeds of speed.

Our good friend, and Collective Team Member Tim Ryan, is as guilty as anybody and shot this short for the love of the sport.

Even though he had to go down to the front range to get the images, we forgave him, and since we had hundreds of views of Mick Hannah last week, we figured our readers wouldn’t mind a little more cycling while we wait for the snow to fall. On that note, check out Monarch’s link at right, which includes a link to the avalanche hotline.

OK, enjoy the video. Thank’s TR. -bd
