The 26th Annual Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy will be a chocolate tasting extravaganza! Attendees will enjoy unlimited chocolate sampling, wine tasting, appetizers, coffee, live music and a competitive silent auction.
Chocolate Lover’s has been described as “the best event held in Buena Vista”. Wine tasting is provided by Little Daisy Liquor and DazBog Coffee is provided by PSH Coffee. Local businesses, groups and organizations participate in the event by sponsoring and decorating tables filled with chocolate and appetizers. The most creative table display is presented with a special Chocolate Lover’s silver platter. The platter serves as a ‘traveling trophy’ that the winning sponsor can display for the year! Additionally, The People’s Choice Award is given to the table display receiving the most votes from attendees and a special prize is given.
The Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy raises money for the Alliance Against Domestic Abuse (AADA), a non-profit organization serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Chaffee County. In 2010, AADA served 234 adult and child victims with crisis intervention, emergency safe housing, support groups, advocacy, financial assistance and peer counseling. Money raised from the Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy directly benefits victims in our community giving them the tools and resources necessary to begin a life free from abuse.
The Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy will be held February 5, 2011 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at High Country Bank, 516 Highway 24 North, Buena Vista, Colorado.
