Dear Commissioners,
I am writing to ask for balance on the Chaffee County Planning Commission. In particular, I urge you to look favorably on the applications of Sig Jaastad, Alan Northcott, Bill Reeves, and Kathryn Wadsworth. I will be brief because you have their applications, but each of these candidates is superbly qualified and at least two have significant planning board experience. Choosing them would show you have the courage to assemble a “Team of Rivals” as historian Doris Kearns Goodwin described President Lincoln’s cabinet that saw the U.S. through the War Between the States.
