The HRRMC Auxiliary installed its officers for 2011 at a ceremony at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center on February 21. Greg Messmer, vice president of ancillary and support services, presided over the ceremony.
The Auxiliary officers include President Tina Giles, Vice President Sherry Carricato, Treasurer Jean McPhetres, Assistant Treasurer Judy Eyler, Secretary Marje Smith, Assistant Secretary Barbara Preston and Director of Volunteers Marge Smith.

Auxiliary members provide vital services to patients and staff at HRRMC. They deliver the local paper and fresh coffee to patients in their rooms weekday mornings, and work in many hospital departments and the hospital’s outlying clinics.
Auxiliary volunteers also run the hospital’s gift shop and play an important role helping with hospital events, such as the 9Health Fair.
Throughout the year, the Auxiliary sponsors fundraisers to support hospital programs and raise money for the scholarships it awards to local students planning a career in health care.
