Evidence of Ancient Visitors Revealed in Cotopaxi.

The recent landslide near Cotopaxi uncovered a large panel of petroglyph art showing a variety of figures, but it was not noticed until March 26. Apparently washed clean after the recent rains, the panels are now easily visible and sure to shake the scientific community. When queried, the foreman in charge of clearing the slide said, “I guess we were just too close to the rock to see them (the figures).”

Could travelers from outer space have visited the Arkansas River Valley in the last 10,000 years? This startling new evidence says “Yes!” Commonly known as ancient astronauts, these visitors to earth are thought to have exposed primitive man to their advanced technology. They were frequently depicted as humanoid shaped figures with large protective spacesuits or helmets, often in flight or other floating positions possible only in zero gravity environments. The white figures in the lower portion of the exposed Cotopaxi panel are fairly typical portrayals of this type.

Evidence for early extraterrestrial visitors to earth was first brought to the public eye in 1968 by Erich Von Daniken in his bestselling book Chariots of the Gods. Painstakingly researched and documented, the book revealed new cave paintings, temple carvings and other artwork by early man. All pointed convincingly at human and extraterrestrial contact around the world and throughout history.

Respected scientist Andrew Koransky, who has examined the newly revealed panel in detail, noted that “It seems that every civilization in the world was at one time or another touched by beings from above, and now Cotopaxi joins the ever growing list of visitation sites. This may also explain the long standing mystery of how Cotopaxi came to be named after a mountain in Ecuador (another region with evidence of ancient astronaut visitation).”

The figures in the Cotopaxi panel appear to be from several different technological and cultural periods. Some figures show large bulky suits, while others show slim, less protective suites. Koransky speculates that the first ancient visitors needed more protection from the ignorant natives, while later visitors were more readily accepted by the locals. It may also have been that alien space suit technology itself evolved over time.

Based on his inspection, Koransky concluded that the panels were covered around 1935 by the WPA (Works Progress Administration), well known for their activist role in rock and stone construction throughout the west. He suggested that this may have been part of a widespread attempt by this shady government organization to cover up the existence of extraterrestrial visitors both past and present. “Their rock work really was exquisite,” he said. “No one noticed in all these years that the cliff face was not natural.” Koransky is now preparing his observations and hypothesis of Paleocontact in Cotopaxi for an upcoming paper in the prestigious journal Unnatural.

Representatives of the National Park Service are considering the location as a new National Cultural Park. Leaders of the local chapter of the Ute tribe want it to be preserved as a religious site. The director of the Colorado Department of Transportation could not be reached for comment on rumors that the highway will have to be rerouted across the river should the site become protected. Residents of Howard expressed fears that the artwork would increase tourist traffic along Highway 50.

PS Is that petroglyph a blackberry!!? :-)

  2. See … that’s why YOU are a respected scientist … you are the only one thus far who has recognized that blackberry. :-)

  3. Ahh yes , that reminds me of the time I was abducted by the Visitors . And no they didn’t give me an anal probe .

  4. I have been rocked with guilt since the rock slide , so I am going to come clean now . It pains me to admit this but one of my OTR contractors got ahead of himself and started drilling anchors into the canyon walls before the final project approval and , well , he drilled in the wrong spot and a little piece of rock fell on the road . He was supposed to clean up after himself but his workers left the scene when he went home for the evening . The workers have since been reprimanded and told to do better in the future . Anyway , I am really looking forward to getting this project started . Thanks to all who support my project . And remember , that was just a fluke and can’t happen again , I promise .

  5. Here I was admiring the art work, and getting all set to ask if Andrew really thought the WPA was a “shady” government agency when I noticed the date of the article.

    You got me.
