Yuko Marlow named TRAC STAR of the Year

HRRMC CEO Ken Leisher and Hospital Board Chairman Dan Downing (back row) congratulated TRAC STAR of the Year finalists (Front row, from left): Alissa Margos, Sean West, Emily James, Yuko Marlow (winner), Karen DePriest, Cathy Casey and Valerie Redmon.

In a gala ceremony at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 21, Environmental Services aide Yuko Marlow was named 2010 TRAC STAR of the Year. The hospital’s TRAC STAR embodies the core values that guide employee performance: Teamwork, Recognition, Attitude, Customer Service, Safety, Talent, Accountability and Respect.

Marlow was selected by her co-workers in a hospital-wide vote from a field of 12 TRAC STAR finalists. She was also honored in May 2010 as TRAC STAR of the First Quarter.

CEO Ken Leisher presented Marlow with a $1,000 gift check and noted that she “is always going above and beyond here at HRRMC.” Hospital staff members can nominate any of their colleagues for the TRAC STAR award.

One co-worker who nominated Marlow for TRAC STAR noted, “Yuko has the most consistent positive attitude of anyone I have ever met.  She is always extremely gracious and performs her job quickly and efficiently in our department.”
Another nominator wrote, “Yuko treats everyone with dignity, courtesy and compassion. She has earned the respect of her co-workers.”

Ken Leisher also recognized the other 2010 TRAC STAR finalists: Samuel Addae, Catalina Briatore, Cathy Casey, Karen DePriest, Emily James, Michelle Leach, George Love, Alissa Margos, Valerie Redmon, TC Rodak and Sean West.
