South Main homeowners host two nights (6-9pm) of music by Whitewater Ramble and Oakhurst to benefit the Chaffee Housing Trust and the South Main Arts Trust. Admission is free. Beer, wine, soda and food sales will help raise funds for these two local charities. Many thanks to the motivated South Main residents making this weekend of celebration a reality! The Ark Valley High Rollers (AVHR) roller derby team is hosting a scrimmage and beginning a fresh round of training for beginners in July.
AVHR now has a total of 28 skaters which has allowed them to split into two home teams so they can scrimmage and bout each other. The Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas announces the completion of three conservation easements totaling 343 acres. Each conservation easement represents months of work on behalf of the Land Trust and the corresponding landowner.
