Carol Rinehart, director of Project Education Sudan, will give a presentation in the community room of the Salida Library, Wed., June 29 at 6pm. Rinehart spoke in Salida last September with Lost Boy Daniel Majok Gai. Gai is currently in southern Sudan participating in an emergent leadership development program at Juba University. Rinehart will give an update on Gai’s work, as well as the situation in southern Sudan as it approaches its official independence day, July 9th. She will also talk about the progress of girls’ schools in the village of Pagook. The talk is free and open to the public. For more information about PES go to www.projecteducationsudan.org
