Is it Rogers Saloon in the Twitchell Building on the corner of F and First where Culture Clash is now?
That’s correct Earle, you win a free coffee drink from Cafe Dawn! The J.A. Rogers saloon was known as The Fountain and had a drinking fountain outside on the corner for people AND horses. This was quite a novelty at the time. When the first concrete sidewalks were poured around 1905 he no doubt paid a little extra to have his name cast into it just in front of the door which is still there and in great shape.
