Sponsored by Salida ArtWorks, the tour is free and open to everyone. During the tour, bright turquoise signs and balloons will spotlight participating studios.
Free maps of all the studio locations are avail- able at local galleries, the Chamber of Commerce, SalidaArtWorks.com, and Facebook/SalidaArt- Works. You can visit any or all of the studios at your own pace, chat with the artists, and see where and how they work. Most of the artists also will have specially priced original work available for purchase. The tour is being widely advertised, and is expected to attract crowds of art enthusiasts and buyers from throughout the region.
ArtWorks’ inaugural Salida Studio Tour was in 2009; and in 2010 it was decided to alternate between Salida and Buena Vista. Next year’s tour will be in BV; and the next Salida Studio Tour won’t be until 2013…so don’tcha dare miss this one!
