Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s new Pediatric Rehabilitation Program evaluates and treats children with developmental delays and other special needs.
HRRMC’s Pediatric Rehabilitation team is comprised of physical, occupational and speech therapists with special training in pediatric care. Depending on a child’s special needs, one, two or all three therapies may prove beneficial.
HRRMC’s pediatric therapists collaborate with parents, physicians, teachers and other caregivers to develop a personalized plan of care to improve the quality of a child’s life. Through play, hands-on treatment, exercise and other activities, the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program helps children become more independent and reach their full potential.
Patients are seen at both The Medical Clinics, 550 West Highway 50, Salida, and the BV Clinic, 713 East Main Street, Buena Vista..
