Pro Challenge charges through Salida

The entire cycling community, the town and what felt like the world of international competitive cycling turned out on a sunny Tuesday morning to host the USA Pro Challenge. Many sports junkies acknowledge that the guys who rolled down F Street today are some of the world’s most amazing athletes. We’re still reeling.

It felt like a wedding; so much work and then? It’s over. We had the good fortune to see near countless meetings in our conference room as Andy and Angela and others paraded visitors through town —while also putting on the Salida Classic this summer? We are in awe at the amount of time allocated to hosting this event. Thanks to everyone who made this happen. Hats off to SCR, the sponsors and volunteers.

  3. Hats off to our ENTIRE community!! It took everyone to pull off such a huge event. This did not go unnoticed by the UPCC head honchos and the thousands of visitors who discovered our awesome and fun little town. Thanks so much Bill for keeping the memory alive with your video footage!!!
