Vino Salida hosts benefit for the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas

Vino Salida Wine Cellars is hosting a benefit event for the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas. The benefit evening, “Taste the Terrior, Vino and Fare” will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The evening will feature fine Colorado crafted wines from Vino Salida, delicious Colorado Proud Fare from Kalamatapit Katering, and Cajun dance tunes from the Gumbo Jets.

Ticket prices are $35.00 per person and will help the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas to protect the most important natural, agricultural, scenic, and historic lands in the region. “Taste the Terrior, Vino and Fare” will be held at Vino Salida, 8100 West Highway 50, Salida, Colorado. Tickets are available from the Land Trust office, 128 East First Street, Salida; Vino Salida; The Book Haven, 128 F Street, Salida; and Buena Vista Roastery, 409 East Main Street, Buena Vista.  Ticket numbers are limited.

The night will be full of good wine, food, and music. In addition, individuals attending can find out more about the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas and their efforts in the Valley. For more information call the Land Trust at 719-539-7700.
