The Rotary Club of Salida is co-hosting a Celebrity Fundraising event with Wallbangers in Salida and the Pro Players Association on October 1st & 2nd. Saturday night’s event will feature several Denver Broncos Alumni at a Celebrity Bartender Night for charity. Funds raised will support the Salida Rotary Charitable Scholarship Programs and Pro Players Association Community Service Projects.

Body of missing hiker found on Mount Antero(31)

Chaffee County Search and Rescue teams, assisted by several other agencies, located the body of Wayne Kirkbride, 61, the retired US Army Special Forces lieutenant colonel who set out Sunday afternoon to climb Mount Antero.
