Exploring Childbirth Options with Lasal Miller, RN

An informative, research-based class that describes childbirth options available in Colorado. A uniquely-qualified local RN will discuss current birth research within a structured class format and help you make informed decisions for your birth and your baby.

Questions that will be addressed in class…

How do local cesarean rates compare to the national average?
Am I a candidate for a home birth, birth center birth or hospital birth?
What childbirth options are available in Colorado?
What are the differences between nurse-midwives, homebirth midwives, doulas and doctors?
What do I need to know about the choices offered to me during my pregnancy and birth?
What are my beliefs surrounding childbirth?

This is a free class held in Salida Regional Library’s community room… walk-ins are welcome. Classes are offered several times a year – check our calendar for an upcoming class! For more information, give us a call or email.
