Have the itch to act? Stage Left Theatre Company is looking for 5 women, ages 20 – 40, and 3 men, ages 18 – 50, to star in its’ spring production Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel. The play, to be produced at the SteamPlant Event Center, is set in 1936 Country Donegal, Ireland as the feast day ‘La Lughnasa approaches. With humor and truth, the five Mundy sisters address issues of love, youth, unquenchable passions, Catholic propriety versus pagan ritual and the age at which we become too old to dance.
