Second Annual “Girls With Goals Day” Returns to the Capitol Monday, March 5(1)

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s Family Birthing Center is offering a one-day childbirth class on Saturday, March 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Bids Requested for Water System Improvements(0)

The City of Salida will be accepting separate sealed bids for the 2012 General Water System Improvements Project which will provide several water system improvements for the City of Salida. The work includes sealing a leaking concrete water tank, removing and replacing a valve vault access hatch, removing and replacing a water tank access ladder and minor fill/grading at the water tank site.

Crime Stoppers seeks information on recent vehicle break-ins(1)

On 2/21/12, numerous vehicles were broken into, ransacked and several things were taken. Some vehicles were broken into but nothing was taken. Chaffee County Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for these vehicle break-ins.
