Mountain biking feature film to be shot locally

A Denver-based team, Main Man Films, will be filming a mountain biking movie this spring/summer 2013. This will be the first non-documentary mountain biking feature film.

The story line is set in Crested Butte and the goal is to film almost entirely in Colorado, including Gunnison, Vail, Aspen, Salida, Buena Vista and Durango.

The Indiegogo campaign for Singletrack has been launched and the link is

The film is a coming-of-age story about a 15-year-old girl who is moved unexpectedly from Monterey, California, to Crested Butte when her military parents are deployed. The young girl, Robin, undergoes several big changes in her life as she adjusts to the Colorado lifestyle.

We have been working on this project for about a year to get to this stage and we would really love your support. This film will be shot with mostly Colorado cast and crew. We have lined up some great locations and we are in the process of building a great team to showcase Colorado and mountain biking to movie audiences around the world.

Salida teen Isaac Stackonis has been cast in the role of Gavin Porter.

Thanks for your support.

We would be happy to have your team at The Pilates Studio working out to improve their biking skills. Using Pilates many bikers in the area have improved their core strength for bike handling skills and climbing. If it becomes part of the film that would be great.
