Baby, pregnancy fair at HRRMC

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s Family Birthing Center will host a Baby and Pregnancy Fair on Sat., Jan. 26, 1 to 4 p.m. in the hospital’s second-floor conference rooms.

The Baby and Pregnancy Fair is free and open to everyone. Tours of the Family Birthing Center will be available as well as information on breastfeeding, baby care, prenatal massage, nutrition and more. A car seat giveaway and mini-yoga sessions will also be offered during the event.

“We are very proud of our Birthing Center and look forward to sharing it with the members of our community,” said Judy Smith, Family Birthing Center nurse manager. “We hope by having exhibitors from many different areas of expertise that everyone will find something meaningful and pertinent.”

Exhibitors include the HRRMC Family Birthing Center, La Leche League, WIC, New Moms Connect, Chaffee County Public Health, Nurse Family Partnership, HRRMC Rehabilitation, Salida Recreation, Salida and Buena Vista Pregnancy Centers, Denise Ackert LMT, acupuncturist Nancy Farrar, Monarch Anesthesia, Chaffee County Early Childhood Council and Early Head Start.
