Ice is nice at skating rink in Centennial park

Public skating this weekend at Centennial Park will be Friday and Saturday, 8 to 10 p.m. Helmets are recommended and skates are available for the public to use. A $2 donation is requested to offset cost of materials to make this happen.

Public Hockey this weekend will be Saturday, 8 to 10 a.m.

These times are weather and ice conditions permitting, but ice has been in great shape thanks to daily maintenance. Special thanks to Michael Blazewicz for spending his money to go to Yale and subsequently masterminding the Rink Rake!

Apologies to anyone that showed up to skate this weekend. The big winds on Thursday severely impacted our ice quality and quantity. We had to keep it closed over the weekend and hope to reopen again later this week once the cold weather returns. Stay tuned..
