Absolute Youth Cycling offers 2-Wheel Fridays

Absolute Youth Cycling, a program of Absolute Bikes Adventures, is excited to announce its spring 2013 session of youth bicycling and mountain biking programs!

2-Wheel Fridays will provide a safe, supportive atmosphere for elementary and middle school children to learn the lifelong joy and skills of bicycling, while having fun outside with friends.  Sessions will consist of a blend of biking skills, safety, fitness, outdoor explorationand good, clean fun!  Depending on age and ability,  other topics might include road/traffic/trail etiquette; teamwork, bicycle maintenance, trail-side repairs; nutrition and hydration, first aid, land and trail stewardship, and trail use and access issues.

This seven-week session (with possible makeup on eighth week) is scheduled for April 5, 12, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, (24).  Elementary school program (ages 6-10) is from 9am to 11:30 a.m. and costs $140.  Middle School program (ages 11-14) is from 12:30  to 4 p.m. and costs $200.  Kids will be broken into groups by ability.
