Bid packets for the Chisholm Park Pavilion Project will be available for pick-up beginning February 21, 2013 after 1:00 P.M. Construction documents and specifications ($20 non-refundable fee) may be obtained at Sarah F. Whittington Architectural Services, 129 1/2 W. 3rd, Suite #5, Salida, CO 81201. Phone number (719) 539-5461. Sealed proposals will be received by the CITY OF SALIDA, Colorado until 1:00 P.M. on March 8, 2013 at City Hall, 448 E First Street, Suite 107. The bid opening will take place at 1:00 P.M. March 8, 2013, in the Methodist Mountain Room, 448 E First Street. At the above stated time and place, bids will be opened, read aloud and tabulated. Proposals will be acted upon by the City on or before March 19, 2013. Bids must be submitted on the proposal form furnished and must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee made payable to the Owner in the amount of 10% of the bidder’s maximum bid price in the form of a certified check or a bid bond. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Bidder’s name and address and labeled: “PROPOSAL FOR CITY OF SALIDA, CHISHOLM PARK PAVILION PROJECT”. The site of construction is 324 Hunt Street, Salida, CO.
There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on February 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Chisholm Park, 324 Hunt Street, Salida, Colorado. Purpose of the meeting is to go over bid documents with perspective bidders, to review the areas of work, and to answer any questions.
