The HRRMC Buena Vista Health Center is hosting an open house on Monday, Feb. 25, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The clinic is located at 28374 County Road 317 in Buena Vista.
The community is invited to meet the clinic’s three new medical providers, family medicine physician Malin Sadler, M.D., family nurse practitioner Linda Typer, and physician assistant Beth Pack. They join family medicine physician Teresa Loftin, M.D., and family nurse practitioner Jan Ommen as medical providers at Buena Vista Health Center.
Prior to working at the Buena Vista Health Center, Dr. Sadler provided medical and acute care in Veterans Administration clinics in Florida and Texas. Before that, he practiced family medicine at Wake Forest Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, N.C. A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Sadler completed both his internship and residency with the United States Air Force.
Typer has practiced for more than 25 years and worked for the past 11 years at Mountain Medical Center in Buena Vista. She received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. She is also a graduate of the Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Colorado School of Nursing and the Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Pack relocated to Buena Vista Health Center from the HRRMC Internal Medicine Clinic, where she had worked since March 2008. Previously, Pack had worked at an orthopedic practice in Arizona that specialized in hand ailments and a family practice in Michigan. She is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Refreshments will be served at the open house.
